Your technique is great. Your jump looks high. My only comment is your leg strength. If you want your jump to look better, then do leg raises to increase you kicking speed. Don't forget to work your left leg too. The faster your left knee raises, the more momentum your left leg gains, increasing your jump height even in mid-air. The faster your kicking leg moves, the more appealing it looks. If you can kick, slap, and bring down before you reach the apex of your jump, then your jump will look really cool, though that's just my opinion. _________________ Stay in school, it keeps the stupid out of your brain. |

I agree with murakumo32 - the higher your left leg goes up, the higher you can jump. The chinese coaches at my school say the same thing all the time. Anyways, the most obvious thing that you can improve on is trying to kick higher with the right leg. It looks like it is just slightly below horizontal. It needs to be above horizontal to look good and current regulations say that the kick needs to be at shoulder height. Keep working on your leg strength and flexibility as murakumo32 suggested. You may find leaning forward a bit more to be helpful when you kick higher (to help maintain your balance).
Your form in the air looks pretty good otherwise and your left leg stays tightly tucked throughout the majority of the technique. _________________ Maximize your potential with
